In Swansea we are fortunate to have a fantastic local council on hand to help residents. If you have problems from refuse collection to planning applications, then please consult the council’s website as it has a wealth of information.

South Wales Police

Should you need to report a crime or just want to see how SWP are engaging with your community, their site is a great resource for constituents.

Swansea Bay NHS

Here you can find details of all our local health services, from GPs to dentists, and how best to get in contact with them.

Swansea Foodbanks

This period has been so tough on all of us, especially working families, and there is no shame in needing a little bit of extra support. This link takes you to the council’s food bank database so you can find one closest to you should you need help or just want to donate.

Swansea Women’s Aid

Swansea Women’s Aid are a credit to our community, providing 24 hour support and advice for victims of domestic abuse. Should you need help please do not give it a second thought to reach out to them.

South Wales victim focus

SWVS provide support and advice to victims of crime, independently of the police and operate locally. If you are a victim and want support from the Criminal Justice System then consider SWVS.

CITIZENS ADVICE

Citizens Advice provide vital support across the country. They are a charity who provide advice for people on issues ranging from debt to immigration.

I am so proud to Chair the APPG’s on Gambling Related Harm, Beauty & Wellbeing and Menopause. Whether it is through the 13 recommendations the Menopause APPG’s report made or the pressure the Gambling Related Harm APPG has put on the Government to publish the Gambling White Paper, their work has made a real impact on Westminster.
