Yesterday afternoon, I took part in a Westminster Hall debate on the prevention of retail crime, secured by David Hanson MP.
Retail crime has a far reaching impact – from the retailers who face losses from theft, to the violence, threats and abuse faced by workers.
For many years, I have been an ardent supporter of Usdaw’s Freedom from Fear Campaign and am acutely aware of the prevalence of violence committed against shop workers who simply doing their job.
