Carolyn Harris MP is urging the people of Swansea to show their support for our war veterans by wearing poppies ahead of Armistice Day this Saturday.
The Swansea East MP was in Morrisons this Thursday selling poppies and other Poppy Appeal merchandise to raise funds for the Royal British Legion.
Carolyn Harris said “The Poppy Appeal is so crucial for providing support to our service men and women, veterans and their families, without the funds raised every November there would not be the support services available today.
“I would encourage the people of Swansea East to dig deep and donate what they can to help continue the work of the Royal British Legion. Don’t forget all those old £1 coins as poppy sellers will still accept them!”
